The Magic of Light

The children in Room 1 at Gilliatte have been busy this year using light in various ways in the classroom. They’ve used the light table to construct with tiles, sort materials, read books, and much more! The children took note when using light it would sometimes reflect shadows and different shapes on the wall. During building with tiles, the tile colors would take on a bright color and the children would discuss the difference between the lighter and darker colors. Using light to explore and play can be so magical and we can’t wait to see where the magic takes us next!
