Sticky gum and slime!

Sticky gum and slime!

The children came in to a provocation featuring “sticky-gum tape”, intended to build on conversations about colors, shapes and lines. Almost all of the children gravitate toward the dramatic play kitchen feature in the room. They are already frequently ‘cooking’, ‘taking-orders’ or ‘visiting the grocery store.’ We look forward to seeing how these interests progress! We also have a group of creative builders it seems!!! In addition, we tried our hand at making ‘slime’ to work with.  Some of the children enjoyed measuring out the ingredients, and timing their friends turns by counting. While the slime didn’t turn out quite like we planned, many friends still had a blast trying it out!
