Today, the children were invited to a provocation that encouraged the children to create sculptures or jewelry. They were presented with various thicknesses of wire along with a few other select materials/tools. Such activities promote fine-motor & many areas of cognitive development… challenging children to think outside of the box for alternative ways to use specific materials. We were all very excited that the weather allowed us some quality time outside.
