Puffy Rainbow Slime

Room 1 has been very busy lately!

First, we created some vibrant puffy rainbow slime! The kids snapped photos as we mixed together shaving cream, glue, watercolor, and borax.

Next, we reflected on our praying mantis, which unfortunately passed away. We discussed possible reasons for its fate—some children thought it might have been eaten, drowned in a puddle, or that it was sad about losing its mother. We also brainstormed ideas for our next classroom pet, considering options like a frog, cicada, or worm!
