Planting for Spring

Our class had a hands-on lesson in plant care as we spent time repotting our room plants and giving them a fresh drink of water. The children carefully removed each plant from its old pot and explored the roots before gently placing them into new, larger pots with fresh soil. They learned about the importance of giving plants room to grow, just like they do!

After repotting, we took turns watering each plant, making sure not to overwater. As we watched the soil absorb the moisture, we talked about how plants need water, sunlight, and care to thrive—just like us! This simple yet meaningful activity taught responsibility, patience, and an appreciation for nature.

Now, our plants have a fresh start, and our classroom feels even more lively and green. We can’t wait to see how they grow
