Melting snow: solid vs liquid

Melting snow: solid vs liquid

Today the children did an investigation with snow! We gathered snow in two jars and measured how much they collected. We added water color for fun and waited for the snow to melt. One child noticed the melting process was taking awhile and suggested putting it under the light because the light was warm. After nap, the children observed that the snow melted and measured the liquid to see any changes.
