Later this week, a group will visit the “Butter” art fair. Here, we’ll see beautiful galleries featuring artists of color. We always pull so much inspiration from this experience & truly can’t wait for what this year has in store!
Naturally, we wanted to pull inspiration from these amazing artists; today, we landed on the multi-talented Faheem Majeed! Much like Majeed, the children were able to create impressive structures using cardboard & other recycled materials.
Jovi: I’m gonna build a dinosaur.
Henry: He (Majeed) made a house.
Ander: I’m making a house right now. A wall & a roof.
Ada: I’m gonna make a house like him.
Landyn: He made a house for my his mommy
Zavion: It’s made of square bricks (photo of colored square art)
K’loniee: He made a house.
