Our students have been exploring the beauty of seasonal flowers and fruits, and recently began experimenting with creative ways to use them even after they’ve passed their peak freshness. Their curiosity sparked an exciting question: Can flowers still change colors after they’ve been picked? Inspired by this inquiry, we decided to test it out using watercolor dyes—seeing firsthand how art and science can come together in a fun, hands-on project.
