Color of Us

After reading the story, The Color of Us the children discussed if we were all the same. They took their interests into the studio where they were able to experiment with different paints to create their own unique skin tone shades to represent themselves. The children used mirrors to draw self-portraits and used the paint colors they created to paint their pictures of themselves. The children enjoyed mixing colors on their hands to accurately reflect their own unique tones.
