Bird Project

Room One’s Bird Project is thriving! The children have been eagerly spotting Cardinals outside and researching the best foods to attract them to our feeders. One student discovered a berry on the playground and added it to the feeder—later that afternoon, we had our first up-close visit from a Cardinal! We also took a neighborhood walk to observe different birdhouses and feeders while searching for various bird species in our area. Our biggest surprise came recently when we spotted a bald eagle soaring over the playground!
