This year in our mixed-age classroom, we have been getting to know the children through hands-on, sensory exploration while helping them become familiar with school routines.
The children are also getting to know one another as they play alongside friends, communicate, share materials, and build relationships.
So far, we’ve enjoyed exploring water, paint, color mixing, scooping and dumping, and outdoor materials.
As we continue observing the children, we are learning more about what interests and excites them. We look forward to continuing to build relationships, explore together, and see where their interests take us next!
