Baking a Cake!

Room Three has continued to explore the idea of birthdays. At meeting, the students created their own recipe for birthday cake. The ingredients included chocolate chips, sugar, butter, sprinkles and eggs. We decided to use their exact recipe to see what it would taste like. Even though our recipe didn’t exactly result in the cake they were planning, it was sweet enough to get a thumbs-up from most of the class. Last week we voted on whether to make a chocolate or vanilla cake (chocolate won), and researched real cake recipes that we plan to test out this week.
