This week, our students had a very special surprise—Miss Stephanie brought in her baby chicks for everyone to see! The children were filled with excitement and wonder as they gently observed the tiny chicks up close. They noticed how soft and fluffy they were, listened to their quiet peeps, and talked about how the chicks moved around, exploring their temporary classroom home.
During the visit, we had meaningful conversations about how baby chicks hatch from eggs and what they need to grow healthy and strong. The children were full of questions—“Did they come from a nest?” “How do they get out of the egg?” “Will they grow into big chickens?” This hands-on experience helped spark curiosity about animal life cycles and gave our students a deeper appreciation for the world around them. We’re so grateful to Miss Stephanie for bringing in such a memorable learning opportunity!
