The children in Room 1 at St. Anthony’s took part in a science experiment involving vinegar and baking soda. Children came up with hypotheses of what they thought would happen when we combined the ingredients.

I think it will be a soggy mess.-Abril age, 5

It will bubble up.-Joshua age, 5

They’ll mix together.-Avery age, 4

When the children were able to test their theories, conversation took place…

Woah! It looks like lava!-Sofia age, 5

Yeah, like a volcano erupting.-Madeline age, 4
